Christian Wegner invests in the start-up for luxury second-hand fashion. He is to invest a seven-figure sum in the company.

Momox founder Christian Wegner becomes an investor in Reverse Retail, an online retailer for designer second-hand fashion. Wegner, who also founded Wisemarkt, will not only become a shareholder, but also a member of the company's advisory board.

Brands such as Buddy&Selly and Vite EnVogue operate under the umbrella company Reverse Retail. Co-partner and Managing Director Marcus Schönhart welcomes the investment and says: "With Christian Wegner, we will fully exploit the potential of this market."

Christian Wegner himself recently made headlines when unknown persons misused the warehouse of his start-up Wisemarkt in Berlin as a party location. A post he made on Linkedin on this topic went viral. Meanwhile, he has big plans for Reverse Retail: "My vision is that one day more second-hand items will be bought and sold than new goods." He now wants to drive this forward with his new investment.
