Parto secures 2.5 million euros in pre-seed financing

Parto receives 2.5 million euros in a pre-seed round. With digital payment solutions for the social economy, the startup aims to relieve the daily workload of care workers and reduce process costs.

Hamburg, October 15, 2024 - The social FinTech startup Parto has closed a pre-seed financing round of 2.5 million euros. Investors include VCs Heal Capital and Motive Ventures as well as business angels. Parto offers the first digital payment infrastructure specifically for companies in the social economy, including child and youth welfare, elderly care and integration assistance.

Digitalization in the social economy: reducing cash management

Parto enables companies in the social economy to use digital payment solutions to drastically reduce cash handling. Until now, cash payments have been widely used in areas such as the administration of safekeeping funds or for everyday expenses, such as food in residential groups. However, the use of cash entails significant personnel and bureaucratic challenges. Parto's solution digitizes these processes, reduces process costs by up to 75% and significantly reduces the workload of employees.

Cooperation with Diakonie and strong growth trajectory

Diakonie Nord Nord-Ost provided the idea for the solution and is Parto's first customer. With the financing round, Parto plans to further expand its solution and deepen its partnerships with strong players such as Visa and Volksbank Mittweida.

Parto's business model has convinced investors such as Heal Capital, Motive Ventures and various business angels.
