Project A Ventures closes fourth fund

The venture capitalist was able to raise 375 million US dollars. The money will be invested primarily in early financing rounds.
Project A Ventures has announced the closing of its fourth fund. With capital of 375 million US dollars, it is the venture capitalist's largest to date. Total capital under management now stands at $1 billion.
Project A co-founder and general partner Uwe Horstmann said, "The closing of our fourth fund is a significant milestone in our company's history. Four new unicorns in our portfolio last year prove that we are on the right track." He is also convinced that startups and scale-ups need more hands-on support: "That's why we are further expanding our operational VC model, in which we have been able to gain a lot of experience, so that our Expert:ins can directly assist our portfolio companies in scaling their business models," says Horstmann.
Since 2012, Project A has made more than 100 investments in the areas of fintech, digital health, logistics, e-commerce and B2B enterprise software.
