The SaaS start-up Ryte receives millions in funding. This will be used to drive international expansion.

Ryte, a provider of quality management for websites from Munich, has received an investment of 6.5 million euros. The money comes from Octopus Ventures, part of the Octopus Group. Other investors include SEK Ventures, Mayflower and a number of existing shareholders, including Saas specialist Senovo and PD Ventures.

"Website quality management is a fast-growing market with compelling growth drivers in user experience and legislation," says Octopus investor Richard Court. "The quality of the product and expertise in website optimization and SEO domains positions Ryte as an excellent choice for businesses."

Ryte was founded in 2012 as an SEO tool. In 2016, the company was repositioned and has been focusing on quality management ever since. To date, the start-up has more than 1,500 customers, including BMW, Allianz and the Boston Consulting Group.

"This investment will help us make website optimization easier for all companies and deliver on our promise to make websites the best possible version of themselves," says CEO and co-founder Andreas Bruckschlögl. Ryte intends to use the investment to develop new products and drive forward its internationalization.
