Six million euros in seed funding for Aeditive

The new investor is the Cologne-based VC BitStone Capital. Market entry is now set to follow.
The Hamburg-based start-up Aeditive has successfully completed its seed financing round. The six million euros come from VC and company builder BitStone Capital and existing investor Atlantic Labs from Berlin. The business angels involved include Young Sohn, who used to work at Samsung, Sebastian Pollok (ex-Amorelie) and Marc Stilke, who used to work at Immobilienscout24. The strategic investor will be Glatthaar Holding from the Black Forest, Europe's largest manufacturer of floor slabs and prefabricated basements.
Aeditive is working on a 3D printer for precast concrete parts. The components are planned using proprietary software. "The industrialization of the construction industry has enormous potential and we are delighted to be on board and bring our extensive network to the table," says Kai Panitzki, Managing Partner at BitStone Capital. "We have been working with the Aeditive team since 2019 and are enthusiastic about the combination of unique technology and the entrepreneurial will to help an entire industry make a technological leap forward," says Lukas Erbguth, Principal at Atlantic Labs.
Now the market entry in Germany is to follow. "The demand is already greater than we can meet with our current team," says Alexander Türk, CEO & Co-Founder of Aeditive. "Recruiting will be a core task for us. We will greatly expand our team of experts in order to further develop our multi-layered product with software, hardware and material components."
