SpaceTech deltaVision Receives 10.2 Million Euros

The Munich-based SpaceTech startup deltaVision has successfully completed its first funding round, raising 10.2 million euros. The round is led by KT Ventures and Valemount Capital. Futury Capital, as well as several industrial family offices and private investors, are also participating.

With this fresh capital, deltaVision plans to significantly expand its production capacity and accelerate the development of its technology platform for future in-orbit refueling of spacecraft.

Profitable Since Its Founding

deltaVision was founded in 2022 and develops fluid systems for launch vehicles, satellites, lunar landers, and orbital servicing vehicles. According to the company, it has been profitable since its founding and successfully deployed its first systems in space as early as 2025. Today, deltaVision employs approximately 125 people and manufactures its products at a former Siemens plant in Munich.

The funding is intended to increase annual production capacity for valves and other propulsion components to 5,000 units in order to meet the growing demand from the international space industry.

Key Components for Spaceflight

deltaVision’s products control propellants, pressurized gases, and other fluids in spacecraft. Valves, pumps, and pressure regulators perform central functions and are considered the “cardiovascular system” of modern satellites and launch vehicles.

Since global demand for these components now significantly exceeds existing supply capacities, deltaVision relies on standardized product designs and short lead times to reduce bottlenecks in the space industry.

The company already supplies more than 60 customers on four continents, including startups, established space companies, and international space agencies. Among its projects is the European lunar lander Argonaut, for which deltaVision supplies numerous pressure regulation and fluid systems.

Technology for In-Orbit Refueling

Beyond expanding production, deltaVision aims to establish a modular technology ecosystem for in-orbit refueling. Among other things, the company is developing coupling systems, supply interfaces, and complete refueling modules designed to enable the transfer of propellants between spacecraft in space in the future.

In doing so, the company is deliberately focusing on open and interoperable standards to create a shared infrastructure for in-orbit services in the long term.

International Expansion Planned

In addition to expanding production in Germany, deltaVision is investing in its international presence. A subsidiary is currently being established in France for research, development, and the production of intelligent sensor systems for fluid systems. Furthermore, the company plans to set up a valve manufacturing facility in the U.S.—the world’s largest market for space technologies—in the near future.

With the new funding, deltaVision aims to accelerate its industrialization and position itself as a European supplier for the next generation of space technology.
