Yellowfox gets new partner

The start-up Yellowfox has been active in the logistics sector for 18 years. Now it is receiving support from the investment company ECM.
The investment company Equity Capital Management (ECM) is supporting the telematics software start-up Yellowfox with immediate effect. Neither side is announcing any financial details, except that Yellowfox co-founder and Managing Director Hendrik Scherf and the other shareholders will remain involved.
"I am proud of the Yellowfox team," says Scherf, explaining the new choice of partner: "In ECM, we have now found a partner with a great feel for growth opportunities for the next stage of development. Together we want to take Yellowfox to the next level."
Since 2003, the start-up based near Dresden has been offering intelligent telematics solutions for a wide range of industries, vehicle types and company sizes. These solutions can be used to track working hours, route planning, the fleet inventory or expenses, for example, and driving style monitoring is also possible. Customers include companies from the construction and logistics sectors. There are currently 70 employees in the DACH region.
"We see great potential for Yellowfox. The areas of application for telematics solutions are far from exhausted and the growth prospects are therefore exceptionally good," says Florian Thelenberg, Partner at ECM.
