Yousign enters the German market

Yousign launched its service in Germany at the beginning of the year, now the French start-up is raising 30 million euros and wants to conquer the German e-signature market.
The French start-up Yousign has had its own team for the German market since the beginning of the year, and since then 100 customers have opted for the start-up's service, according to the company. Yousign is now raising 30 million euros with the clear aim of completely conquering the German market. To achieve this, the team is also to be expanded: 150 new hires are planned over the next 18 months. The round is being led by the American venture capitalist Lead Edge Capital, with eFounders also participating in the Series A financing round.
"Our goal is to support German companies by adapting our products precisely to the national characteristics of the market. This fundraising will enable us to strengthen our team and offer solutions that meet the needs of our German customers," says Dominik Drechsler, who is responsible for the German market. The start-up has ambitious plans: by 2024, Yousign wants to equip 50,000 European small and medium-sized enterprises with its e-signature solution and achieve a turnover of 70 million euros.
"The business processes that have not yet been digitized, as the signature had to be done in the presence of the parties involved, are now carried out online. We are delighted to support Yousign in making this vision a reality," says Thibaud Elziere from eFounders.
Yousign was founded in 2013 by Antoine Louiset and Luc Pallavidino and offers digital signatures. It is estimated that the market for this will grow by 25 percent annually until 2030. Last year, Yousign expanded its workforce from 35 to 100 employees.
