Anydesk raises over 60 million euros

The company has thus successfully completed its financing round. The company has benefited from the pandemic with its remote software.

Stuttgart-based start-up Anydesk has secured more than 60 million euros in a Series C financing round. The round was led by the company's new strategic partner, investment firm General Atlantic. Existing investors Insight Partners, EQT Ventures and Possible Ventures also contributed money again. The investment round raised Anydesk's valuation to €600 million. The company has developed remote desktop software that aims to provide users with secure remote access and support on any device running all major operating systems, competing with TeamViewer.

Anydesk now plans to use the money to accelerate its growth: The startup plans to develop new products and grow its team. The company has benefited from the home office boom at the time of the Corona pandemic. As a result, the company expects to have reached just over 500 million downloads of its software by December 2021. In 2020 alone, the number of downloads doubled, making Anydesk one of the 50 fastest growing companies in Europe.
