Donatus Albrecht invests in advertising signs

The start-up wants to digitize the advertising market. Donatus Albrecht's money is intended to help win new customers.

B2B start-up Werbezeichen gains a big name investor. The CIO of the Aurelius Group is taking a stake in the Munich-based start-up. The parties have agreed not to disclose the amount of the investment or the valuation.

Werbezeichen was founded in 2017 and offers branded promotional products such as pens or mugs. In addition, the start-up also advises companies. More than 1,200 customers use the service, including brands such as Flixbus and Moët. "The promotional products market in Europe is still barely digitized and, with a volume of circa 12.5 billion euros, very attractive," said Donatus Albrecht. "Advertising Sign is well equipped for strong growth with its digital ordering process and scalable processes."

The company needs the money for further growth. It plans to use that to expand its platform. It will also put more money into marketing to attract new customers. "This financing not only gives us more flexibility in planning and implementing our growth strategies, but Donatus can also support us with valuable experience and strategically important contacts," says CEO Florian Ganss.
