The HDI insurance group is a new investor. The existing investors also gave money.

Babelforce has raised four million euros. The existing investors EnBW New Ventures and IBB Ventures led the Series A financing round. Hannover Digital Investments, the venture capital arm of the HDI Group, is a new investor in Babelforce.

The start-up by Pierce Buckley, Christian Förster and Timo Friedl offers software that enables companies to automate their customer service and thus work more effectively and save costs. Customers include EnBW, Homeday, Emesa, Marley Spoon and VidaXL. "We are very excited about this next big step, which will allow us to bring the power of the Babelforce platform to customer service and experience teams around the world," says Babelforce CEO Pierce Buckley.

Babelforce plans to use the capital from the funding round to expand its sales and development teams. The start-up also wants to improve its internal automation in order to find more customers and strengthen customer loyalty.
