Bertelsmann Investments strengthens EMBRACE offering with acquisition of VOCANTO

Gütersloh/Cologne, December 4, 2024 - Bertelsmann Investments has expanded the EMBRACE Family of Brands with the acquisition of VOCANTO, a digital learning platform for trainees. The acquisition strengthens the "Young Talents" segment and complements existing brands such as Ausbildung.de, Studyflix, MeinPraktikum.de and Trainee.de with innovative e-learning offerings.

VOCANTO offers over 40 e-learning programs for training occupations and supports more than 2,000 corporate customers and 40,000 trainees and trainers throughout Germany. The company remains independent, with founders Stephan Hansen and Johannes Schulte and the 40-strong team at the helm.

With VOCANTO, EMBRACE is expanding its portfolio from pure employee recruitment (attraction and hiring) to offerings for retention.

The acquisition of VOCANTO is part of EMBRACE's buy & build strategy under the umbrella of Bertelsmann Investments.
