Bringoo receives five million euros
Sophie Deistler | 18.07.2022With the capital from the financing round, the start-up wants to expand and extend its existing partnerships.
Bringoo received five million euros in a Series A financing round. The family office CIC, Florian Schürenkrämer and the venture capital firm 20 Scoops invested.
Hasib Khan, Robert Kusobucki and Christian Puell founded their delivery service Bringoo in Hamburg at the end of 2020. Customers can use the startup's platform to select a partner company in their area and put together a shopping cart. Bringoo employees then purchase the desired goods and deliver them to the doorstep within 45 minutes or within a flexible delivery window. The start-up therefore manages without its own warehouse and supply chains. Its partners include Edeka, Penny, Metro, Obi, Hugendubel and Getränkepartner.
"With the additional capital, we will now expand further, because two-thirds of the German population still has no access to same-day delivery or quick commerce" says Bringoo co-founder Hasib Khan. "By working with our retail partners, our model is scalable and profitable. Especially in non-urban areas, exactly where no one dares to go until now." So far, Bringoo is present in Hamburg, Berlin and Cologne, but is also active in the Cologne area in cities such as Frechen, Hürth and Brühl.
