Carl Finance launches matching platform for investors and medium-sized companies

Private equity investors are looking for takeover opportunities, many medium-sized companies are urgently looking for a successor. The new platform Carl Connect aims to bring the two sides together.
Many SME entrepreneurs are desperately looking for a successor to take over their company. The Berlin fintech Carl Finance now wants to help these managers: Through its new platform Carl Connect, it wants to bring companies and investors together to prevent succession crises.
On Carl Connect, investors can register for free and specify in which industries, which region and which size they are looking for takeover candidates. Some well-known investors are already active on the platform, including Deutsche Industrie Holding, Deutsche Private Equity, Auctus and EOS.
The offer is about more than just investment opportunities, explains Carl Finance CEO Kurosch Habibi: "With the impending demise of hundreds of thousands of German SMEs, it's not just jobs that are being lost, but also innovation and value creation in Germany."
