The start-up Cobrainer is worth 100 million euros. The Munich-based company raised eleven million euros from investors.

The Munich-based start-up Cobrainer has once again convinced investors. Investment firms Linden Capital and Vogel Ventures, the former head of the Studivz platform, Michael Brehm, and corporate accelerator Wayra, which belongs to Telefónica, have been supporting the company for some time. Now the former manager of Microsoft Germany, Gregor Bieler, has also joined. Eleven million euros were raised in the financing round. The company received a valuation of 100 million euros at the same time.

"We are investing in key feature enhancements to our skills platform and expanding our sales and customer success activities across Europe to strengthen our existing markets and enter new ones," says CEO and co-founder Hanns Aderhold. "The world of work is fundamentally changing, and people's individual skills are key components of this transformation."

Cobrainer describes itself as a skills database. In the meantime, he says, the company has built the largest of its kind in the world. Its clients include Telefónica Deutschland and Porsche.

The company's platform is designed to provide employees with skills profiles, potential career paths and suitable training. Companies should thus be able to see which employees are best suited for open positions. This should save time and money when filling vacancies.

At the same time, employees should increase their productivity and job satisfaction and be retained by the company to learn more about their personal growth opportunities.
