Cobrainer is worth 100 million euros

The start-up Cobrainer is worth 100 million euros. The Munich-based company raised eleven million euros from investors.
The Munich-based start-up Cobrainer has once again convinced investors. The investment firms Linden Capital and Vogel Ventures, the former head of the Studivz platform, Michael Brehm, and corporate accelerator Wayra, which belongs to Telefónica, have been supporting the company for some time. Now the former manager of Microsoft Germany, Gregor Bieler, has also joined in. Eleven million euros were raised in the financing round. At the same time, the company received a valuation of 100 million euros.
"We are investing in important functional enhancements to our skills platform and are expanding our sales and customer success activities across Europe in order to strengthen our existing markets and open up new ones," says CEO and co-founder Hanns Aderhold. "The world of work is changing fundamentally, and people's individual skills are key components of this transformation."
Cobrainer describes itself as a skills database. The company has now built up the largest of its kind in the world. Its customers include Telefónica Deutschland and Porsche.
The company's platform is designed to offer employees skills profiles, possible career paths and suitable further training measures. Companies should be able to see which employees are best suited to vacancies. This should save time and money when filling vacancies.
At the same time, employees should increase their productivity and job satisfaction and be retained by the company in order to learn more about their personal growth opportunities.
