Digitty closes seed funding round

The Berlin-based company has raised €2.2 million in its first round of funding and has recruited AI expert Ajit Jaokar for its start-up.
Digitty has not only raised money, but also brought a renowned expert to its side: In a recent funding round, the Berlin-based company got 2.2 million euros. The money comes from the Swiss company Jungle Group and business angels. In addition, Ajit Jaokar, who teaches on the subject of AI at Oxford University, is joining Digitty.
Founder Sebastian Britz explains his company's future plans: "With Ajit Jaokar's funding and expertise, we're able to move forward with our expansion much faster than before." In the next few months, a Series A financing round is to be closed, which is expected to include an amount in the double-digit millions.
Diggity and Jaokar have been working together for some time: "Over the past 18 months, I have successfully collaborated with the great team at digitty.io and the two founders Stephan and Sebastian," says the expert.
The Berlin SaaS start-up accompanies project planning from the very first step with the help of AI. The software acts like a robo-advisor and actively provides assistance to minimize sources of error right from the start. The start-up also promises to simplify communication between project participants.
Digitty was founded by Britz and Stephan Wirsich in 2019, and expert Jaokar says of the business model, "From an AI perspective, we are solving a difficult problem that affects many industries. I strongly believe that the digitty.io product can add value to a number of industries, especially in the event of a pandemic."
