The leading investor was Barmenia Next Strategies (BNS), the venture capital unit of Barmenia Versicherung, supported by ESB Invest, Backbone Ventures, Auxxo and business angels such as Maximilian Tayenthal (N26) and Cornelia Oelling (HR expert). Exakt Health plans to use the funds to significantly expand its offering for the treatment and prevention of running injuries.

In addition to the existing digital programs, Exakt Health will be introducing AI-based running training plans in the coming weeks, which offer runners individualized and dynamic training plans. These automatically adapt to the user's fitness level, injury risk and progress and are designed to prevent injuries and achieve performance goals.
Our vision is to develop the most comprehensive app for runners that combines physiotherapy and the latest training science.
