The SaaS start-up receives 20 million euros from Nordwind Capital. Now it wants to double the number of employees.

The no-code platform SmapOne receives growth financing of 20 million euros. The round is led by Nordwind Capital, a Munich-based private equity firm. Among others, Paul Achleitner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank, Bitkom President Achim Berg, as well as national football player Thomas Müller are investing in the start-up via Nordwind Capital.

SmapOne is an app construction kit for B2B customers. The cloud-based no-code platform enables even the inexperienced to build apps - via drag and drop. To date, 50,000 apps have been programmed via the platform, according to SmapOne. Customers include Vonovia and Dachser.

Last year, the platform was used three times as often as in the previous year, the start-up says. SmapOne now wants to put the capital into growth. The number of employees - today 65 - is to double. The young company was founded in 2014 and has locations in Hanover, Dresden and Ulm.
