The SaaS start-up receives 20 million euros from Nordwind Capital. Now it wants to double the number of employees.

The no-code platform SmapOne receives 20 million euros in growth financing. The round is led by Nordwind Capital, a Munich-based private equity firm. Among others, Paul Achleitner, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank, Bitkom President Achim Berg and national soccer player Thomas Müller are investing in the start-up via Nordwind Capital.

SmapOne is an app construction kit for B2B customers. The cloud-based no-code platform enables even inexperienced users to build apps using drag and drop. According to SmapOne, 50,000 apps have been programmed via the platform to date. Customers include Vonovia and Dachser.

According to the start-up, the platform was used three times as often last year as in the previous year. SmapOne now wants to invest the capital in growth. The number of employees - currently 65 - is set to double. The young company was founded in 2014 and has offices in Hanover, Dresden and Ulm.
