Greenfield One launches Europe's largest crypto fund

The Berlin-based investor has raised €135 million for the venture. The backers include European corporations and a US billionaire.
The crypto hype continues. Berlin-based financial investor Greenfield One has launched a new crypto fund. It is said to be the largest of its kind in the European region. For this, the firm landed investments amounting to 135 million euros.
Investors include Bertelsmann Investments, Swiss firm Swisscom and Commerzbank subsidiary CommerzVentures. US billionaire Mike Novogratz, who specialises in cryptocurrencies, is also on board with his fund Galaxy Vision Hill, as the Manager Magazine reports.
It is already the third fund of this kind that Greenfield One has launched. The fact that the second had only launched in December 2020 and raised only €50 million is an indication of how quickly the crypto scene is developing. Greenfield One's first two funds were previously considered lucrative for investors: their money was increased tenfold.
