Gyde receives 1.1 million euros

The Stuttgart-based start-up has developed a digital platform for leadership training.

The digital leadership development platform has now raised €1.1 million in its first round of funding. Benedikt Ilg, Florian Buzin and the storytelling agency Bär Tiger Wolf with founders Theo Eißler and Robin Behlau were convinced by the concept and invested in Gyde. The investment companies S-Kap, ES-Kapital, D.ventures and Snabb Cap are also among the new investors. "Employees and managers today expect relevant and effective training opportunities that they can combine with their stressful daily lives," says co-founder Omar Sanchez. "With our digital platform that intelligently combines micro learning, reflection and group sharing, we offer just that."

Founded in 2020 by Stuttgart-based Lukas Heinzmann and Sanchez, the start-up relies on a novel triad of five- to ten-minute learning units (micro-learnings), thematic exercises and so-called peer coaching, cross-company group coaching sessions via video call, in its offering for executives from medium-sized companies and scale-ups. Executive coach Andreas Bunz joined the management team this year.

According to Gyde, 30 companies have already reserved places for their employees in the courses since the launch, and more than 200 executives have already attended the courses.
