Karla raises 3.4 million euros

The start-up is now supported by renowned business angels such as Jochen Engert and Daniel Krauss from Flix Mobility.
Berlin-based start-up Karla has raised €3.4 million in a pre-seed funding round. Investors include 468 Capital, La Famiglia and various business angels from sectors such as e-commerce, technology and last mile delivery. They also include Jochen Engert and Daniel Krauss from Flix Mobility, Oliver Merkel from Flink, Flaschenpost founders Stephen Weich and David Nothacker, Julius Koehler and Nicolaus Schefenacker from Sennder.
Through the start-up's app, customers of online stores will receive an overview of all orders in the future and can quickly adjust delivery time and location to their individual preferences. Returns, refunds and complaints as well as customer services are also to be possible via the app.
Philippe Padrock and Frederik Schroeder founded Karla last year in Berlin. The start-up wants to launch its product this year and is currently developing it in collaboration with online stores.
