Munich-based legal tech startup from Y Combinator aims to revolutionize legal services for SMEs
Munich, November 28, 2024 - Platus, a Munich-based B2B startup, is officially launching its platform with the support of the renowned Y Combinator. Serial founders Felix Gerlach and Alexander Sporenberg have developed a solution that uses artificial intelligence (AI) and automation to make legal services more efficient and cost-effective - especially for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Serial founders with expertise in fintech and legal tech
The founders combine expertise from the fields of fintech and legal tech. Alexander Sporenberg brought experience in cross-border legal services with the Razor Group and previously founded Beglaubigt.de, a leading platform for digital notary services. Felix Gerlach, Forbes "30 Under 30 Finance" 2020, was co-founder of Passbase Inc. and brings deep experience in legal and compliance tech.

With Y Combinator, one of the world's most respected startup incubators, Platus is planning rapid expansion in Europe and the USA. The startup is already one of the five fastest-growing companies in the Fall Batch 2024 and has acquired international customers. The next step: the presentation at the Y Combinator Demo Day on December 4, 2024, where Platus will present itself to around 1,500 investorsand media representativesin order to secure further funding.
