Likeminded closes round with EUR 5.9 million

The Berlin-based company Likeminded has raised €5.9 million in a seed financing round to expand its platform for mental health solutions. The digital platform offers personalized support for company employees to prevent overwork and burnout.

Berlin - Likeminded, a mental health solutions startup, has raised €5.9 million in seed funding to further expand its offering. The financing round was led by Holtzbrinck Digital, an investor with a focus on digital companies, and existing investors from Heartcore Capital also participated.

Likeminded's platform offers support for employees of companies such as Jack Wolfskin, Oliver Wyman and sennder to prevent overwork and burnout and to strengthen employee retention and satisfaction.

By combining AI-driven recommendation algorithms and scalable but consistently effective support formats, Likeminded brings together what at first glance seems impossible: personalized mental health support at an affordable cost.

More and more people are suffering from mental stress in the workplace, which not only affects those affected, but also the companies themselves, who have to deal with longer absences. DAK recorded a record high in sick leave due to mental illness in 2022. To tackle this problem, Likeminded was founded by Kimberly Breuer, Maximilian Heberger, Stefan Anca and Josu García de Albizu. The platform enables employees to get quick and easy access to personalized offers for their mental health.

200% growth in the last 12 months

The startup has established itself as an expert in group formats, in addition to the usual formats such as one-on-one sessions with psychologists and on-demand content. An essential part of Likeminded's offering are AI-driven recommendation algorithms that enable personalized suggestions and effective support for each user. The company has seen user growth of more than 200% in the last 12 months, which also convinced existing investor Heartcore Capital.

The fresh capital from the financing round will be used to further expand the business and realize Likeminded's vision of becoming Europe's leading platform for mental health solutions. One focus will be on further expanding its lead in the field of AI-based personalization in combination with scalable formats.
