Likeminded closes round with EUR 5.9 million

Berlin-based Likeminded has raised €5.9 million in a seed funding round to expand its mental health solutions platform. The digital platform offers personalized support for corporate employees to prevent overwork and burnout.

Berlin - Likeminded, a mental health solutions startup, has raised €5.9 million in seed funding to further expand its offering. The funding round was led by Holtzbrinck Digital, an investor focused on digital companies, and existing investors Heartcore Capital also participated.

Likeminded's platform provides support for employees at companies such as Jack Wolfskin, Oliver Wyman and sennder to prevent overwork and burnout and boost employee retention and satisfaction.

By combining AI-driven recommendation algorithms with scalable but consistently effective support formats, Likeminded brings together what at first glance seems impossible: personalized mental health support at a sustainable cost.

More and more people are suffering from mental stress in the workplace, which affects not only those affected but also the companies themselves, which have to deal with prolonged absences. In 2022, the DAK recorded a record high in sick leave due to mental illness. To address this problem, Likeminded was founded by Kimberly Breuer, Maximilian Heberger, Stefan Anca and Josu García de Albizu. The platform enables employees to get easy and fast access to personalized offers for their mental health.

200% growth in the last 12 months

The startup has established itself as an expert in group formats, in addition to the more common formats such as one-on-one sessions with psycholog:icists and on-demand content. A key part of Likeminded's offering is AI-driven recommendation algorithms that enable personalized suggestions and effective support for each:n user:in. The company has seen user growth of more than 200% in the last 12 months, which also convinced existing investor Heartcore Capital.

The fresh capital from the funding round will be used to further expand the business and realize Likeminded's vision of becoming Europe's leading mental health solutions platform. A key focus will be to further extend its lead in AI-based personalization in combination with scalable formats.
