Live Eo receives over five million euros

The Berlin-based start-up facilitates infrastructure monitoring - from space. In a current round of financing, Live Eo is now getting 5.25 million euros from well-known investors.
Controlling the infrastructure from above - that's the concept of the Berlin-based start-up Live Eo. It uses satellite images to monitor railways, power lines or pipelines, and an artificial intelligence analyzes the data. Deutsche Bahn is also one of its customers.
In a current round of financing, Live Eo is now raising 5.25 million euros. Btov Partners, Helen Ventures, Motu Ventures, Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures and various business angels are involved. The Berliners are putting the money into expansion into the USA and other markets as well as the further development of infrastructure monitoring.
"This financing round is an important milestone for LiveEO," says co-founder Daniel Seidel. Especially the implementation of new features is his top priority for the further development of Live Eo.
According to the company, by analyzing satellite imagery, Live Eo's customers will be able to save on operating costs and also digitize and make more secure the monitoring of their grids. "We are excited about the opportunities that satellite data analysis presents to improve the safety and reliability of high-value assets and provide continuous monitoring for asset owners," says Terhi Vapola of Helen Ventures.
