Luminovo takes over Electronic Fellows

Luminovo and Electronic Fellows want to support PCB manufacturers in their work. The two start-ups have now merged.
The Munich-based start-up Luminovo has taken over the Wiesbaden-based start-up Electronic Fellows. "The takeover not only gives us a second product ready for sale," explains Luminovo founder Sebastian Schaal. "The shared use of functions and knowledge from the Electronic Fellows product Stackrate and our current core product LumiQuote also opens up new opportunities for collaboration between companies in the electronics value chain in one fell swoop," says the entrepreneur.
With the Electronic Fellows platform "Stackrate", PCB manufacturers can digitally display, analyze and process their PCBs. The function is to be integrated into Luminovo's LumiQuote platform, which enables manufacturers to process parts lists and compare prices.
Luminovo was launched in 2017 as an artificial intelligence consultancy. In February 2021, the start-up launched its own software on the market. This was preceded by a pre-seed financing round of more than two million euros.
