McMakler receives 50 million euros

The start-up is now said to be worth 800 million euros. A Scottish pre-IPO investor has also joined the company.
Berlin-based real estate startup McMakler has raised an additional Handelsblatt raised another 50 million euros. The company's valuation is now said to be €800 million. Investors include Scottish investment management firm Baillie Gifford, which is a new entrant, and U.S. private equity firm Warburg Pincus and an existing investor. McMakler already confirmed the information.
It was only in the fall that it became known that McMakler's revenue had increased by 98 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2021. 40 million euros the company had apparently taken in. Over the next few years, McMakler wants to expand its network. Already compared to 2020, the number of brokers had increased by 77 percent.
McMakler is a hybrid broker active in Germany, Austria and France. The company employs more than 400 of its own real estate agents in over 20 locations. These are supported by nearly 600 employees at the headquarters in Berlin, as well as an artificial intelligence system. Felix Jahn started the hybrid real estate brokerage as a founding investor and executive chairman, and in 2018 also took on the CEO role.
