mogenius expands seed financing to 3 million euros

D11Z Ventures invests in DevOps provider - focus on European expansion and AI-powered automation.
Cologne, March 19, 2025 - Cologne-based DevOps startup mogenius has expanded its seed financing round to a total of 3 million euros. Following the first financing round of 2.5 million euros in July 2024, D11Z Ventures has now also joined as a new investor. Conceptum, seed + speed Ventures and Smart Infrastructure Ventures had previously backed the company.
Operating cloud-native software more easily and efficiently
The market for DevOps solutions is growing rapidly: according to IMARC, the market volume amounted to over USD 10 billion last year and is expected to rise to over USD 60 billion by 2033. At the same time, the complexity of operating cloud and hybrid infrastructures is increasing. mogenius offers companies a solution to overcome these challenges automatically and efficiently.
The need for more efficient DevOps solutions is growing enormously. mogenius offers a strong platform for companies that want to modernize their software delivery. We are convinced that the team and its technology will play a decisive role in the European market.
Jan Ludwig, Investment Manager at D11Z
The platform optimizes and automates operational processes, allowing development teams to focus more on software development instead of infrastructure management.
Up to 60% less time required for DevOps teams
Kubernetes-based cloud environments in particular often require time-consuming manual processes. With the Kubernetes Manager from mogenius, resources can be grouped and assigned to specific teams. Developers receive real-time insights into their clusters and can resolve problems independently - without the need for lengthy support.
According to mogenius, this approach leads to time savings of up to 60%, as errors can be identified and rectified more quickly.
New capital for growth and technology expansion
mogenius plans to use the new funding to expand its partner network in Europe and further develop the platform. A particular focus will be on AI-supported monitoring and automation solutions to further simplify the operation of cloud-native software.
D11Z fits perfectly with our vision of making the use of cloud-native technologies more economical. Their network in the tech scene and their expertise in cloud technologies will support us in our growth.
Gerrit Schumann, CEO of mogenius
mogenius was founded to automate the management and operation of cloud applications. The platform makes it easier for companies to use complex Kubernetes technologies, optimizes the use of resources and reduces manual effort in DevOps processes. With the new investment, mogenius is continuing its growth trajectory and driving innovation in the field of cloud-native software.
