Spittal/Drau, March 2025 - The Austrian startup myAcker has completed a successful financing round, securing new capital for its next growth steps. The new investors include Valrosa Holding and Techsoft Invest GmbH from Upper Austria. Both investors bring not only capital, but also extensive expertise in the fields of technology and software.
The new investors not only bring capital, but also valuable experience. With their support, we will further accelerate our growth strategy
Christoph Raunig, founder and managing director of myAcker
Valrosa Holding invests in various sectors, while Techsoft Invest GmbH specializes in software solutions and technological developments. Both investors see great potential in myAcker's business model, particularly with regard to the company's scalability and growth.
As part of this financing round, the new investors will acquire a minority stake in myAcker. The company is valued at a double-digit million amount in this round. According to Christoph Raunig, founder and CEO of myAcker, this round is an important step towards achieving the planned expansion and growth targets.
Growth strategy and market expansion
The fresh capital will primarily be used to expand into new markets and build up the team. MyAcker plans to offer its solutions for autonomous shopping outside of Austria and Germany. In particular, the company plans to invest more in IT development and key account management in order to better meet the growing demand for its products and services.
MyAcker aims to become the leading brand in the field of autonomous shopping. The company's offering makes it possible to operate stores without staff and still create a high-quality shopping experience. These solutions are to be used in even more stores and regions in the future.

Products and solutions
With "ackerPay", myAcker has already developed a system that enables the operation of autonomous and hybrid stores. The technology is already being used in over 100 stores in Austria and Germany. These include farm stores, hotel stores, supermarkets and non-food stores. MyAcker offers a completely autonomous shopping solution that works without staff and still offers customers an appealing shopping experience.
In addition, myAcker has developed the AckerBox, an autonomous store that offers regional products. These boxes are particularly popular in urban areas and offer another way to shop autonomously. The AckerBox is now available in different versions, from classic shipping containers to smart refrigerators, which were developed in collaboration with an industrial partner.
Looking to the future: further expansion planned
"We are proud of the trust that our new investors have placed in us," says Christoph Raunig. "With the support of these investors, we can further accelerate our growth and establish our products in new markets and business areas."
Despite challenging conditions in the current investment environment, myAcker is confident. The company sees a high demand for its products and solutions and is convinced that the investors will make an important contribution to the successful implementation of the next growth steps with their expertise.
With the financing round and the planned expansion, myAcker is looking forward to a successful future in the field of autonomous shopping and technology for unmanned stores.
