Neo Taste cracks 50,000 user mark

The start-up only launched in August 2021. Now it has been able to reach a milestone.
The start-up Neotaste has been able to convince more than 50,000 users of its app and is now represented at 650 restaurants. The start-up was able to reach this milestone a few days ago and, according to its own statements, climbed into the top 12 in the app stores, passing apps such as Gorillas.
Neotaste has been around since August 2021, and users can use the app to discover new local restaurants and receive matching offers. According to the company, the aim is not only to motivate users to explore the culinary scene, but also to support restaurateurs. Neotaste is intended to help them tap into new target groups more easily. According to its own information, the start-up has already been able to realize additional sales of 1.5 million with restaurateurs since its launch a year ago.
Only in January, the start-up was able to close a first round of financing, as Startbase reported. At that time, the Crash entrepreneurial group around Rolf Hilchner and Heinz-Wilhelm Bogena invested in the Lower Saxony start-up. The company then expanded to Cologne, among other places, and soon to Dortmund as well.
