The start-up was only launched in August 2021. Now it has reached a milestone.

The start-up Neotaste has won over more than 50,000 users to its app and is now represented in 650 restaurants. The start-up reached this milestone a few days ago, climbing into the top 12 in the app stores and overtaking apps such as Gorillas.

Neotaste has been around since August 2021 and users can use the app to discover new local restaurants and receive matching offers. According to the company, the aim is not only to motivate users to explore the culinary scene, but also to support restaurateurs. Neotaste aims to help them tap into new target groups more easily. According to its own information, the start-up has already generated additional sales of 1.5 million from restaurateurs since its launch a year ago.

The start-up was only able to close its first round of financing in January, as reported by Startbase. At that time, the Crash entrepreneur group led by Rolf Hilchner and Heinz-Wilhelm Bogena invested in the Lower Saxony start-up. The company then expanded to Cologne and soon also to Dortmund.
