Pre-seed funding for properly fitting bras

The Münster-based start-up Brajuu gets money from business angels. The company wants to sell perfectly fitting bras.
The start-up Brajuu has secured pre-seed funding. The money comes from various investors who are participating in the Münster-based start-up as business angels. The money will be put into expanding the technology and growth. Brajuu was founded as a company after the investment. Former management consultant Melanie Wagenfort and IT manager Marco Preuß are appointed as managing director and CEO.
Brajuu offers a "FitQuiz" on its website. With this, the right bra can be found with a few questions. The start-up works together with partner shops to which they refer customers. In the future, they plan to offer swimwear as well. "Our data-driven technology is setting new standards here: we are digitising bra advice from specialist shops and combining it with the huge product range and convenient shopping experience from the online world," says founder Melanie Wagenfort. The two problems they want to solve with Brajuu: 80 percent of all women wear ill-fitting bras and the returns rate in online bra retail is 75 percent.
