With its Qunosuite software, the start-up wants to help clinics worldwide maintain patient relationships. Bertelsmann Investments and Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures support the idea.

Qunomedical has received ten million euros for its new B2B solution "Qunosuite" in a Series A financing round. Bertelsmann Investments and Dieter von Holtzbrinck Ventures have invested in the healthcare start-up for the first time. Half of the funding came from existing investors such as MS&AD Ventures and Calmstorm.

Sophie Chung founded Qunomedical in Berlin in 2016. Initially, the startup went to market with a platform for doctor searches. Patients can find vetted doctors in 25 countries on the platform and also get free consultations during and after treatment. With its new offering Qunosuite, the start-up now wants to help doctors, hospitals and clinic chains manage their patient relationships and optimize their processes. With the software, Qunomedical has tapped into a new source of revenue, as healthcare providers pay a monthly fee. To date, clinics in ten locations are using the software, managing a total of more than 120,000 patients.

"Our goal is to become the leading patient relationship management software - globally," says Qunomedical founder and CEO Sophie Chung. "The very fact that there is currently no software that really works for this shows how important our project is and how great our potential is."
