Rabot Charge closes pre-seed financing round

Rabot Charge's technology is designed to enable electric cars to be charged cheaply with green electricity. Now over one million euros have been raised.
Rabot Charge has completed its first financing round and raised more than one million euros. The start-up wants to use the funds from the financing round to become a sustainable and digital energy service provider.
Jan Rabe and Maximilian Both founded Rabot Charge in Hamburg in 2021. The start-up has developed a technology to charge electric cars in an optimized and more sustainable way. With the help of an algorithm, the charging process is optimized based on the electricity price and the amount of green electricity available. This allows electricity consumption to be shifted to times when a lot of wind and solar energy is being fed into the grid and the price of electricity is very low. With its technology, the start-up wants to prevent overloading the electricity grids, contribute to the energy transition and help owners of electric cars to save money. The start-up also offers its product as a white-label solution for industry partners.
"This investment round has enabled us to expand the team and now focus on product development and market entry in Germany," says Managing Director Jan Rabe.
