Sennder becomes software provider

The first logistics company is already using the software.

Logistics startup Sennder is expanding its offerings. The startup is now becoming a SaaS provider. Following its recent $160 million funding, Sennder announced it will put the money into expanding and developing its own technology. The company's proprietary software platform, SennOS, is designed to enable logistics companies to manage their transportation shipments.

Zeitfracht is the first company to use SennOS. The company will be able to "navigate its 300 trucks and 800 swap bodies as efficiently as possible" thanks to GPS tracking and route optimisation, writes Eurotransport. "The core business remains as before, the SaaS business is added as an important factor," founder David Nothacker tells Gründerszene

Founded in 2015, Sennder offers an all-inclusive program for logistics companies. Following its past funding, Sennder rose to Unicorn status (Startbase reported
