Temedica raises 25 million euros

The Munich-based healthtech successfully closes its extended Series B financing round with a total of 42 million euros.
Temedica was able to expand its Series B financing round by 25 million euros and has now raised a total of 42 million euros. Investors include MIG Capital, formerly MIG Verwaltungs AG, one of Germany's leading venture capitalists. "Temedica operates in a fast-growing and highly attractive market," says Boris Bernstein, Partner at MIG about the investment. "The Temedica team is highly motivated and we look forward to working with them and continuing our journey."
Temedica intends to use the new capital to further expand its own ecosystem. The Munich-based healthtech collects and combines the patient data of millions of people, according to its own information, and then makes it available on its own platform in an organized manner. The company wants to use the anonymized data to create an overview of the reality of patient care. The aim is to contribute to the development of individualized and patient-centric treatment methods.
The start-up was founded in 2016 by Gloria Seibert and Benjamin Friedrich. Seibert is convinced that the large amounts of data and the completely new types of data that Temedica generates, collects and organizes can play a key role in personalized medicine.
