The 3D printing start-up receives three million euros and now wants to invest in its team and its own network.

Berlin-based software start-up Trinckle has raised three million euros in its Series A financing round. The round is led by venture capitalist HGZ Group, which specializes in 3D printing.

Trinckle aims to automate the construction and design process in 3D printing. This should allow users without concrete knowledge in these areas to easily manufacture corresponding products. "By significantly reducing the barriers to entry for design generation and allowing recurring design tasks to be fully automated on demand, trinckle can give the whole additive manufacturing technology a decisive boost," says Kerstin Herzog, managing director of HGZ Group.

Trinckle says it already has a number of prominent customers, including Ford, Volkswagen, Audi and Deutsche Bahn. The start-up now wants to use the capital to expand the team and sign new partnerships that can boost sales.
