Yousign launches in Germany

The French start-up Yousign is coming to Germany and wants to make digital signatures the standard.

In 2013 Luc Pallavidino and Antoine Louiset founded the start-up Yousign in France, now the market launch in Germany follows. Yousign offers a digital signature for all industries, but focuses mainly on those with a lot of contracts, such as human resources: "There is no way around electronic signatures here, especially in the current home office situation," says Germany CEO Dominik Drechsler.

The more than 5,000 customers so far include, for example, Allianz or Roland Berger. In Germany, "we see ourselves at the forefront of digitizing all work processes - at the end of which electronic signatures are often used," says Drechsler of the German expansion. Currently, Yousign employs 90 people.

"Although digital signatures are significantly shaping the future of work, market penetration in Europe is only 20 percent," says Drechsler. But growth of up to 25 percent per year is expected, he adds. Yousign is a certified provider of electronic signatures, electronic time stamps and electronic server seals, as well as a member of the Trusted List (EUTL) of trust service providers published by the European Commission.
