60 million euros for Tubulis

With the help of the financing, Tubulis is aiming for clinical evaluation. The company also convinced new investors.

Tubulis has closed a €60 million Series B financing round. Andera Partners led the round, Evotec and Fund+ joined. Existing investors Bayern Kapital, Biomedpartners, Coparion, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Occident and Seventure Partners also participated again.

Tubulis specializes in the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADC). These are suitable for the treatment of tumors, for example. However, ADCs can also be toxic to the body. Tubulis is also addressing this problem. They use a linker technology to increase the specificity and bind new active substances to the antibody.

With the funds from the financing round, Tubulis is now seeking clinical evaluation for its proprietary ADC pipeline. The company also aims to launch several programs for solid tumor indications. "The funding round underscores that Tubulis is uniquely positioned to consolidate the last 20 years of ADC insights and translate them into meaningful therapeutic benefits for patients," said Tubulis co-founder and CEO Dominik Schumacher. "We have reached an important inflection point in the development of our platform technologies as well as our pipeline of novel protein-drug conjugates and are now focused on opening new avenues in the treatment of solid tumors and providing patients with safe and effective ADCs."

As part of the financing round, Tubulis' Board of Directors is also growing, with Sofia Ioannidou from Andera Partners, Thomas Hanke from Evotec and Jan Van den Bossche from Fund+ joining. In addition, Valentin Piëch takes over Michael Wacker's seat for Biomedpartners.
