Anybill receives seed financing

In addition to new investors, the start-up has also Diebold Nixdorf and Gebit Solutions as partners.

Anybill has raised seed funding of five million euros. Mutschler Ventures, Wenvest Capital and the Auxxo Female Catalyst Fund are investing. Payone founders Jan Kaniess and Carl Frederic Zitscher are also participating in the round. The start-up also gains AVG as an investor. The existing investor Ilavska Vuillermoz Capital invests again in Anybill.

At the same time as the financing round, the start-up also announces new partnerships. The company is now cooperating with Diebold Nixdorf and Gebit Solutions. Both companies offer digital retail solutions such as self-checkout systems. With the integration of Anybill, the companies can now offer their customers a solution for issuing digital receipts.

Anybill aims to issue a digital receipt for every payment and wants to make this possible for retailers of all sizes and in all sectors. "In the future, we as a society will ask ourselves why we relied on paper receipts in the first place, not only unnecessarily burdening the environment every day, but also leaving value-adding potential untapped," says co-founder and CEO Lea Frank. She founded Anybill in 2019 together with Tobias Gubo and Patrick Göttler. The current funding will be used to hire new employees in the areas of sales, customer success management and tech.
