The HDI insurance group is a new investor. Existing investors also gave money.
Babelforce raised four million euros. Existing investors EnBW New Ventures and IBB Ventures led the Series A funding round. Hannover Digital Investments, the venture capital arm of HDI Group, is a new investor in Babelforce.
The start-up by Pierce Buckley, Christian Förster and Timo Friedl offers software that enables companies to automate their customer service and thus work more effectively and save costs. Customers include EnBW, Homeday, Emesa, Marley Spoon and VidaXL, for example. "We are very excited about this next big step that will enable us to bring the power of the Babelforce platform to customer service and experience teams around the world," said Babelforce CEO Pierce Buckley.
With the capital from the funding round, Babelforce plans to grow its sales and development teams. The startup also wants to improve its internal automation to find more customers and build customer loyalty.
