Applicants report chaos at Tesla

On Kununu, applicants report chaotic conditions and a lack of feedback at the automaker.

7,000 people are expected to be employed by Tesla in Gründheide, Brandenburg, starting this summer. Working for one of the most innovative carmakers seems attractive. However, Tesla does not come off well to many applicants on Kununu, a rating platform for employers. They report that they do not receive any feedback even after months, and calls and emails are apparently not responded to. One applicant complains about the lack of appreciation. He writes after a lack of feedback, "Very embarrassing for such an innovative company." Another applicant for a manager position was apparently invited for an interview eight times. Another user writes that he was asked to send appointment suggestions and received no response after his three suggestions.

Apparently, Tesla's HR department mailboxes are overflowing. Also the employment agencies deliver contact data of long-term unemployed to the start-up of Elon Musk. The Frankfurt an der Oder employment agency has forwarded more than 1,000 applicants to Tesla.
