The Accelerator offers startups up to 12,000 euros, coaching and office space in Berlin. Young companies can apply until May 10.
The Accelerator Reaktor Berlin is launching a six-month program to develop pre-seed startups. Start-ups that are no older than three months and are based in Berlin can apply.
The program is aimed at young companies that "offer solutions to the major challenges in our society." These include climate change, gender inequality and diversity, housing, education, sustainable food and efficient healthcare systems. Startups have until May 10 to apply. Those whose online applications are convincing will be invited to speed-date with mentors and make a pitch.
Startups accepted into the program will receive €2,000 per co-founder for six months. The founders can also use office space in the center of Berlin. In addition, the startups are entitled to intensive mentoring and help in making contact with angels and investors.
The accelerator is supported by European social funds and the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Operations. Reaktor Berlin is backed by the investors High-Tech Gründerfonds, Starthub Ventures, Business Angels Berlin Brandenburg, Project A, Westtech Ventures and Accel.
