Deutsche Firmenkredit Partner receives five million euros

The start-up specializes in brokering corporate loans - and has the products of many different banks and financiers on offer for this purpose.

Fintech Deutsche Firmenkredit Partner (DFKP) has successfully completed its seed financing round and raised around five million euros. In the process, DFKP was able to attract new investors: the founders of Interhyp, Germany's largest construction loan broker according to the company, Robert Haselsteiner and Marcus Wolsdorf. They joined DFKP through their investment company HW Capital.

"Paul Weber and his team have built up an impressive performance in a short time and are driving innovation in this market," says Robert Haselsteiner. "That convinced us and reminded us of the early years at Interhyp." Apparently, that's a key reason for the investment: "DFKP has the potential to become the Interhyp of corporate finance."

DFKP was founded in 2019 and brokers working capital loans, investment loans, leasing and installment plan, and purchase financing solutions. Around 70 banks and specialist financiers are connected to the start-up, and DFKP enables them to lend to small and medium-sized enterprises.

The credit process runs via a digital platform. But it's not all digital: corporate customer advisors also work for DFKP. In 2021, over 90 million euros in financing volume was brokered to partner banks, according to the company. That represents a 2.5-fold increase compared to 2020.
