Doordash comes to Germany

The American food delivery service Doordash is looking for employees to form a German team. The company has not yet commented on this, but it looks like expansion.
Meals delivered to your home, already prepared, as a pre-made portion with a recipe or as supermarket shopping: there is everything your heart desires. And the market is hotly contested. Now, the next food delivery company has announced its intention to enter Germany. The American start-up Doordash has advertised 15 jobs in the areas of management, strategy and personnel. The company itself did not want to comment on this.
"As a founding member of our German team, you will be instrumental in creating something great together," Doordash wrote in its job posting. Doordash is the largest provider in the U.S. with a delivery service app, with a 55 percent market share, writes Financial Times.
It was only in April that Uber Eats announced it was expanding its presence into the German market. In addition, Delivery Hero wants to return with the Foodpanda brand. The company had sold its business to Just Eat Takeaway in 2018, which also currently dominates the German market.
