Startups Using AI - Watchlist, October 26
CodeRabbit – AI-Powered Software Testing and Code Analysis
Founded three years ago, the startup CodeRabbit is developing an AI-powered platform for automated software code review. The solution analyzes code changes, identifies potential security risks and quality issues, and helps development teams detect errors early on. The software operates independently of specific AI models and can be integrated into various development environments. In August 2026, CodeRabbit secured $143 million in a Series C funding round, with investors including BMW i Ventures. Approximately 17,000 companies are already using the technology, including the BMW Group and Nvidia. CodeRabbit was founded by Harjot Gill (CEO), an experienced technology entrepreneur, and Guritfaq Singh (COO), who brings extensive experience in software development and product management.
Arveum Intelligence – AI-Powered Recruiting and Career Platform
Founded in Munich in 2026, the startup Arveum Intelligence develops AI-based solutions for recruitment and career development. With its AI recruiter Tilda, the company supports HR departments in pre-screening applicants. The software creates job postings, analyzes resumes, conducts initial interviews, and generates personalized suitability assessments with transparent justifications. The final hiring decision, however, remains with a human. In addition, Arveum is developing the AI career coach Theo, designed to guide applicants in optimizing their application materials, preparing for interviews, and planning their long-term career development.
In the long term, founders Philipp Montgelas and Albrecht Senden aim to combine both solutions into a single recruiting platform where companies and talent can stay connected even beyond individual hiring processes. The business model is based on subscriptions for Tilda and, in the future, on placement fees generated through Theo. Arveum has already secured a partner in the WESTPRESS Agency Group, which plans to use the AI recruiter in various recruiting projects. The two founders bring experience in building and scaling digital platforms such as lastminute.com, Readly, Tipico, and gutefrage.net.
elSobo – AI-Powered Social Media Management for Small Businesses
The startup elSobo is developing an AI-powered social media platform designed to make it easier for small businesses, founders, and self-employed individuals to create and manage their social media content. The software automatically generates text, images, and hashtags; enables the simultaneous publication of posts on up to twelve platforms; and supports idea generation based on current trends, news, and calendar entries. A central inbox also allows users to manage comments, direct messages, and reviews from various channels. The goal is to make professional social media marketing more cost-effective and efficient. elSobo is currently in the beta phase and is seeking test users who can try the platform for free for seven days and extend their trial period by providing detailed feedback.
Cambrion – AI-Powered Automation of Document Processing
Founded in Munich in 2024, the startup Cambrion is developing an AI-based software platform for the automated processing of business documents such as invoices, delivery notes, and waybills. The technology extracts relevant information from various file formats and languages, verifies its validity, and converts it into structured data that can be integrated directly into existing enterprise systems. With the help of specialized AI agents, companies can automate document-intensive business processes and reduce manual data entry. The model-agnostic platform can be operated in an EU cloud, in private cloud environments, or on the company’s own servers, and is ISO 27001 certified. Cambrion was founded by Daniel Gamber (CEO) and Dr. Daniel Tiarks (CTO), who bring experience in software development, artificial intelligence, and business development. In 2026, the company was honored with the WirtschaftsWoche Best of Technology Award in the Process Management category.
Adjuvanto – AI-Powered Sanctions List Screening and Compliance Software
Founded in Munich in 2026, the startup Adjuvanto develops an AI-powered software platform for automated sanctions list screening and support of compliance processes in companies. The solution is aimed in particular at industrial and manufacturing companies that need to screen their business partners for potential sanctions and regulatory risks. The software cross-checks customers and suppliers against international sanctions lists, analyzes potential matches, and researches additional information on corporate structures, ownership, and possible sanctions circumvention. In doing so, the platform generates transparent assessments and documents all verification steps for future audits. The final compliance decisions remain with the responsible employees. The goal is to reduce manual research work, accelerate verification processes, and better control regulatory risks. Adjuvanto was founded by Konrad Preuninger (CEO), who brings about ten years of experience in the trade compliance software market, and Maximilian Pütz (COO), who is responsible for technical development.
