The metal parts sourcing platform was able to bring on board its first international lead investor, Evli Growth Partners.

Start-up Laserhub has successfully closed its Series B funding round, the company announced today. The lead investor is Evli Growth Partners from Finland. Two other international funds, Fuse Venture Partners from the UK and FJ Labs from the US, joined as co-investors. Schenker Ventures is also investing in the company. Existing investors Project A, Point Nine and Acton Capital also participated in the round.

Capital also participated in the round. It is not known how much capital the start-up has raised.

Adrian Raidt, Christoph Rößner and Jonas Schweizer founded the Stuttgart-based startup in 2017. The founders have built a platform for sourcing customized sheet metal and turned parts. Customers can use an algorithm to find the right partners from the Laserhub network for their orders.

The company intends to use the new capital to improve its technology and adapt it more closely to the needs of industrial SMEs. In addition, new machining processes such as welding are to be offered. In the future, companies will be able to buy not only individual parts, but also assemblies. Laserhub thus aims to exceed annual sales of 100 million euros in 2023. Currently, the company is active not only in Germany but also in France, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg. In the coming months, Laserhub plans to expand into other European markets.
