The start-up has developed the Envoria software, which helps companies disclose their sustainability metrics. With the seed funding, Fisa aims to strengthen its development team.

In a seed financing round, Financial Software Architects (Fisa) has received a seven-figure sum for its Envoria software. The capital comes from ILB subsidiary Brandenburg Kapital, Bavarian Sustainable Capital and Fino Ventures.

Sven Schubert, Thimo Brinkmann and Stefan Siemers founded Fisa in 2018, and the startup has developed Contavio contract management software and Envoria ESG software. The latter helps companies collect, qualify and disclose environmental, social and governance data.

"With Envoria, we already fully cover all adopted regulations, whether EU taxonomy, European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) or supply chain law," says Fisa Managing Director Sven Schubert. "In addition, our team of auditors and developers ensures that new regulations are covered in a legally compliant manner immediately when they become effective." The Global Reporting Initiative has certified Envoria.

Fisa plans to use the capital from the financing round to strengthen its team of developers and build its distribution network. To date, the start-up has employed more than twenty people in its offices in Munich and Potsdam.
