French start-up Moonshot Insurance comes to Germany

The start-up Moonshot Insurance offers white-label solutions with which insurance can be individually booked in addition to products. The offer is now also available in Germany, with Stocard as its partner.
French insurtech Moonshot now wants to conquer the German market. To do so, the start-up, which offers a white-label solution for insurance companies, is relying on Stocard as a partner. Moonshot's technology can be integrated by online retailers or service providers so that they can offer customers the purchase of personalized insurance. "Through digitalization, services are becoming more and more individualized. Nowadays, this must also apply to insurance. Customers expect flexible offers that adapt to their needs," says CEO Pascal Bied-Charreton. Customers could, for example, book insurance for a flight cancellation, but omit the luggage insurance that is normally included if they have not checked in any luggage.
"We were impressed with the flexibility and commitment of Moonshot's Insurance Expert:inside, especially in adapting otherwise common processes to provide the best possible customer experience for our user:inside," says Stocard founder Björn Goß. Moonshot Insurance says it has 60 million customers in the UK, the Netherlands, Italy, France and Germany and has sold 500,000 policies to date.
