The insurance start-up from Rostock also wants to establish its bicycle insurance on the French market. A comparison platform is now set to help with this.

Insurtech Hepster only launched in France in May. The start-up has now entered into a strategic partnership with the French comparison portal Insurly. The comparison portal recognizes Hepster's bicycle insurance as the price-performance winner. The criteria for this award are presented transparently on the portal.

Hanna Bachmann, Christian Range and Alexander Hornung founded the Rostock-based start-up in 2016. The founders want to enable companies from all sectors to integrate individual insurance policies into their offerings. The insurtech's portfolio includes mobility, electronics, equipment, travel, pet and accident insurance. According to the company, it has over 2,000 partners and more than 150,000 customers. The start-up is now looking to establish itself in France as well as Germany and Austria.

In addition to Insurly, further strategic partnerships and new insurance services are already planned for the future in the neighboring country. "We are currently in talks to launch e-scooter insurance on the French market," says Fabian Pöhnert from Hepster.
