The startup Hipeople was able to raise three million dollars in a seed funding.

Digital talent finder Hipeople has closed a seed funding round, receiving $3 million. The round was led by Mattias Ljungman's fund Moonfire. Capnamic Ventures and Cherry Ventures were also involved.

Hipeople had already closed a first pre-seed round in 2019 with over one million US dollars. The Berlin-based startup aims to simplify the search for companies to find the right employee. To do this, companies forward the references they expect from candidates to Hipeople. Subsequently, the start-up requests all relevant information from the candidates themselves and prepares it for the company.

According to the company, this saves customers 50 percent of the time they would otherwise spend searching for the right employee. Investor Ljungman is sold on the idea, in part because the pandemic has made hiring the right people for a company more difficult.
